OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
Our story began back in 2007 within the vibrant halls of college, where chance brought us together. Introduced through friends, our conversations were brief, a series of fleeting moments between classes. Though we felt a natural connection, life pulled us in separate directions, leaving us to continue our paths independently. Until an unexpected encounter in Nakuru changed everything. Daisy was visiting her sister, and I was working in the area, completely unaware that my life was about to shift in such a meaningful way. This chance reunion felt like destiny rekindling a spark, and our casual conversations evolved into late-night calls, shared dreams, and a friendship that grew deeper with each passing day. Little did we know, these moments were laying the foundation for the love story that would define our lives.
Fast forward to
2012. Life’s path once again led us in different directions, each of us off to explore new horizons. However, fate had its own plans, pulling us back together later that same year. This time, it was a shared farming venture that reunited us, sparking something deeper than before. As we reconnected, each of us more certain of what we wanted from life, the connection between us grew undeniably stronger. Then, by a twist of fate, we found ourselves together in Kisumu, both of us unknowingly guided back into each other’s lives as if the stars had aligned. In these moments, we felt more certain than ever that our story was more than just coincidence—it was meant to be. The universe seemed to whisper, reminding us that our love was destined, strong enough to endure the miles and time that had once separated us.
The proposal
With hearts full of love and certainty, I knew it was time to take the next step. On February 15, 2014, I surprised Daisy with a proposal that marked a beautiful turning point in our journey. It was a day steeped in romance and joy, a moment that forever changed our lives. Just two weeks later, on March 1st, we gathered with family and friends to celebrate our Koito, formally beginning our journey as partners and sealing our commitment to each other. Now, we look forward to celebrating our “forever anniversary” with each of you on December 6th, grateful for the love, laughter, and devotion that has guided us to this beautiful moment. Thank you for being part of our story and for witnessing the magic of two souls who found their way back to each other, time and again. Here’s to forever!
